Shahi Qila, also known as Jaunpur Fort or Karar Fort, is a historic riverside fort located on the northern bank of the Gomti River near Shahi Bridge in Jaunpur. The fort complex dates to the 14th century and is a protected heritage monument. Its historic structures include imposing gateways, fort walls, a mosque and the remains of a traditional Turkish bath (Hammam). The site offers a distinctive heritage setting for cultural and historical activities.
