About

KD Jadhav Wrestling Stadium is a fully air-conditioned indoor sports venue located within the Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex in New Delhi. The stadium was constructed for the 2010 Commonwealth Games and was subsequently named after Khashaba Dadasaheb Jadhav, India's first individual Olympic medallist, who won a bronze medal in wrestling at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics. The venue has been used for wrestling and other indoor sporting disciplines, including judo, wushu, basketball training and sepaktakraw. It is also suitable for hosting major sports competitions, tournaments, exhibitions and selected non-sporting events. The stadium has a reported seating capacity of approximately 6,000 spectators.
